We are SafeOnline Women Kenya(SOW-Kenya), and our story began when cyberbullying escalated to real-world stalking for our founder in 2023. That painful experience revealed what so many Kenyan women know: there was nowhere safe to turn. From that lived experience, a movement was born.
We are here to turn pain into power, silence into strength, and fear into fearless participation online. You are not alone in this journey, and together we can create the change our sisters and daughters deserve.

TechSecure Literacy Curriculum
Through four core modules covering online safety, cybersecurity, data protection and technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV), participants learn how to protect their personal information, recognize threats, safeguard their data, and respond confidently to online abuse.
Our Innovative Solution
SafeHer Mobile App
SafeHer puts digital safety directly in the hands of women and girls. This mobile application helps prevent online abuse before it escalates, offering secure, anonymous reporting alongside legal support and mental health resources. Built with Kenyan women, especially those from marginalized communities, SafeHer ensures users stay in control of how incidents are handled.
